Heritage Wedding

From our hands to yours.

Heritage Wedding hit the Etsy market at the opportune time in 2014. Primarily selling personalized bridesmaid robes and groomsmen travel bags, the business boomed quickly. Their immediate success allowed the owners to start its sister company, Holtz Leather Co.

Due to Holtz Leather’s immense growth, Heritage Wedding’s brand has gone untouched for years. I led the research, exploration, and creation of potential brand directions. Logo concepts, mood boards, and stylescapes were presented, but the project was put on hold.

The Mild Version.

Heritage Wedding was due for a major rebrand. I decided to present two directions for the identity: a mild version and a spicy version.

The mild version consisted of a warm classic color palette, elegant typography, and romantic imagery. The full stylescape, a mix between a mood board and brand identity sheet, is shown above. Primary and secondary logo options and application mock-ups are shown below.

02.

The Spicy Version.

The wedding market is saturated with thousands of companies trying to sell bridesmaid and groomsmen gifts. To stand out from the crowd, I presented this “spicy” brand direction with an unexpected color palette consisting of orange and emerald.

To emphasize Heritage Wedding’s in-house embroidery, we chose the slogan “from our hands to yours.”
